Government contracting workshop planned
PABLO – Robert Much from Native American Development Corp’s Procurement Tech Assistance Center will be conducting a Government Contracting 101 workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the CSKT IT computer training room in the lower level of the Old Tribal Complex in Pablo. The workshop will cover the basics of government contracting and online certifications needed to do business with the government. Following the training, Much will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 14 for government contracting counseling assistance. Those interested in doing business with the government and who’d like assistance obtaining SAM registration, Duns number and registering with SBA’s small business website, can meet with Robert at Sovereign Leasing & Financing Nov. 14. Free meditation class offered

Daughters of the American Revolution to meet
ST. IGNATIUS – The Kuilix chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15 at the United Methodist Church, St. Ignatius, Hwy. 93 (top of the hill). Following the meeting, Karen Dunwell, director of the Polson Flathead Historical Museum, will give a Powerpoint presentation on “Our Lively Rich History Here on the Flathead Reservation.” Prospective members are welcome. Middle school theatre group presents ‘The Lady Pirates of the Carribbean’
RONAN – Coming soon will be a swashbuckling pirate comedy performed by the very talented Ronan Middle School theatre group. The play “The Lady Pirates of the Caribbean” will be a combination of gold, orphaned children, notorious pirates, a shipwreck, walking the plank, and a classic sword fight. Lots of fun for all. One performance will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15 at the Ronan Performing Arts Center. All tickets will be sold at the door and cost $5 each.
Speaker addresses partner violence
POLSON — The Polson Kiwanis Club meets the first and third Thursday of each month at the KwaTaqNuk Resort’s Koostatah room, from noon-1 p.m. Join us on Thursday, Nov. 15, when our speaker will be Bonnie Klein on behalf of PEACE (Prevention and Education of Abuse in Christian Environments). PEACE is a non-profit corporation that raises awareness and provides resources for clergy, victims and perpetrators of intimate partner violence in the Christian community.

POLSON — Makerspace is available on Mondays beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the North Lake County Library. This 90-minute program is for kids of all ages and their caregivers any Monday the library is open. Come build, make, and play. The theme for Nov. 19 is “Strange New Planet.”

POLSON — Please join us for the community dance at the Elks on Main Street on Wednesday, Nov. 21, from 7-10 p.m. in the ballroom. Music is provided by Ken’s Country Combo playing a variety of country and vintage rock and roll. D’Aste Group holds bazaar in Charlo
CHARLO – Restarting an old tradition, the D’Aste Women’s Service Group has scheduled a holiday bazaar for Saturday, Nov. 24, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Charlo Senior Center. The bazaar offers a wonderful selection of homemade delights. Sales consultants from well-known home-based businesses, such as doTERRA, Thirty-one Gifts, and Jamberry Nails, will also have tables.
