POLSON — A series of mid-week worship services at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 409 4th Ave. E., begins with the Thanksgiving Eve service on Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 7 p.m. Advent soup suppers and services will be Wednesdays, Dec. 4, 11 and 19. 

Suppers will be served at 5:30 p.m. and the worship services begin at 6:30 p.m. The choir and youth group will meet after services at 7:15 p.m.

RONAN — The tenth annual Ronan Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be on Thursday, Nov. 28, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Ronan Community Center. Festivities for the day include entertainment and a traditional turkey dinner. Volunteers are needed to help serve, cook, buss and clean up. Turkeys, pies, and rolls, are also needed. ST. IGNATIUS — On Saturday, Dec. 7, the Chamber of Commerce will sponsor their annual Children’s Christmas Carnival at the Community Center starting at 2 p.m. There will be games and prizes for everyone.

At 5:30 p.m. the tree lighting will take place at Gariepy Park. Chili and hot beverages will be served. A caroling wagon will lead the light parade through town. Anyone wanting to be in the parade may still do so. There is no fee, just fun.
