St. Joseph, Glacier Bank conduct food drive through Dec. 19
POLSON —Providence St. Joseph Medical Center and Glacier Bank are collecting food for local food banks this holiday season. Collection points are located at the Glacier Bank main branch on U.S. Highway 93 in Polson and in the St. Joseph Medical Center lobby. The food drive will begin Friday, Nov. 29, and culminates Thursday, Dec. 19, at the Polson Chamber of Commerce SPLASH between 5-7 p.m. at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center, 6 Thirteenth Ave. E.
Concert to benefit Toys for Tots
POLSON — The Lake Bar presents a free “Make a Kid Smile” concert on Dec. 13 from 6 p.m. to closing. Bring an unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots program and listen to three bands perform: “Off in the Woods,” “The Slickbacks,” and “Free Radicals.”
PHS choral group to perform in Big Arm
BIG ARM — The Big Arm Association will host the Polson High School choral group at our annual Christmas program on Friday, Dec. 13, at the Big Arm Historic School House. Their performance will begin at 5:30 p.m. A snack/dessert time will begin at 5 p.m. so please bring a finger food or dessert to share and if possible, an unwrapped toy for the Marine Toys For Tots drive. Find Christmas gifts at annual bazaar
ST. IGNATIUS — The Mission Valley Ranch Hands 4-H Club Christmas Bazaar will be held from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. at the St. Ignatius Community Center on Saturday, Dec. 14. This annual event is a great place to find gifts and has been for more than 30 years. There will be many vendors, local products, 4-H concessions and more.

Glacier Lake School presents play
RONAN — Glacier Lake School presents a play with Bugsy, Fat Sam and Blousey on Dec. 17 and 18 at the Grey Leaf Gallery on Main Street. The performance begins at 6 p.m. and tickets are $5 and $10. Join community dance fun
POLSON — Please join us for the community dance at the Elks on Wednesday, Dec. 18, from 7-10 p.m. Music is provided by Ken’s Country Combo playing a variety of classic country and vintage rock and roll. Snacks are provided during the 8:30 p.m. Refreshments may be purchased in the bar next door. No Elks membership is required. The cover charge is $5. POLSON — Join classic country jammin’ at the Elks on Main Street for a great afternoon of music and fun on Sunday, Jan. 5, from 1-4 p.m. Bring your guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, autoharp, base, keyboard, drum, sax, etc., and come join us for a few hours of jamming and dancing on Sunday afternoon.
If you plan to play, you must bring your own instrument. This is a new jam that will be at the Elks every first Sunday of each month.
