Learn to crochet through Feb. 25
POLSON — The North Lake County Public Library’s popular “Needle Arts Series” is back. Crochet is back. The library is happy to provide four crochet sessions in February as part of our ongoing fiber arts series. Mark your calendars now with these dates: Feb.4, 11, 18 and 25 at 2 p.m. in the library meeting room. Please bring your crochet hook and yarn (cotton recommended). Hooks are also available for $5 in our gift shop. There will also be yarn on hand.

Adopt-A-Book at library
POLSON — Adopt-A-Book takes place in February at the North Lake County Public Library. It is also “I Love to Read” month. For a $15 donation, choose from our selection of new picture books and juvenile titles. You can then add a special message that we will place in the cover.
Barron to speak on Justice Center levy loss
POLSON — You are invited to the Lake County Pachyderm, on Friday, Feb. 14, from noon-1 p.m. to hear Bill Barron speak on the loss of the Justice Center levy and where Lake County government will go from here. The meeting will be held at the Polson Rural Fire Station off Regatta Road.
Dance at ‘50s sock-hop, celebrate Valentine’s Day
BIG ARM — The Big Arm Association invites you to a “Valentine’s Day ‘50s Sock-Hop” featuring Charles Lutz and the “Slickbacks.” There will be live music from the ‘50s including Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers, and Ricky Nelson. Bring your favorite finger food, snack food or dessert to share and wear your ‘50s and ‘60s duds. Join us on Friday, Feb. 14 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Big Arm schoolhouse. ST. IGNATIUS — Stop and purchase your honey some sweets at the St. Ignatius Senior Center on Valentine’s Day, Friday, Feb. 14, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. You can also buy a Valentine raffle ticket for a chance to win a nice basket of Valentine gifts. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
