ST. IGNATIUS — The AARP Tax-Aide Program provides free help in preparing and electronically filing federal and state income tax returns for low to moderate- income taxpayers. 'Quilt Walk Around Polson' quilt show Feb. 11 through 25
POLSON — The 16th Annual All In Stitches Quilt Walk Around Polson quilt show starts today. Everyone is invited to vote for their favorite quilts displayed in businesses on Main Street from Feb. 11-22. You can pick up your ballots at All In Stitches. Ribbons will be hung on the winning quilts on Feb. 23 and quilts will be on display through Feb. 25.

Group to honor Gold, Eagle Scouts
POLSON — Officers and members of the Marine Corps League Hellroaring Detachment 1041 invite all Lake and Sanders County Eagle and Gold Scouts to their first Eagle and Gold Scouts Recognition Dinner on Feb. 18 at the Polson Fullerton VFW Post 2986. This is an RSVP only event and the deadline is Feb. 10. The cost of the dinner is $5 each or $15 per family of four. The dinner is free for 2016-17 Eagle or Gold Scout recipients. New program begins at library
POLSON — Starting on Feb. 18, North Lake County Public Library will host a new program called Weekend Wigglers, featuring books, crafts, games, and fun for all. This one-hour activity for school-aged kids will be held every other Saturday from 2-3 p.m. in the library meeting room. For more information call 406-883-8225.
Support Soup’s On at Winter Fest fundraiser
POLSON — The eighth annual Winter Fest, a fundraiser for Soup’s On, the community kitchen in Polson, will be held at the Elks Club in Polson on Feb. 18. Dinner will be served at 5 p.m. Don’t miss song writer and performer Rob Quist with his daughter, Halladay Quist, beginning around 8 p.m. The live auction will feature a leather bound collection of novels by the author Louis L’Amour. Local artists have designed beautifully authentic “Chairity” chairs, unique in their style and medium, to be auctioned as well. Quilter Barbara Smith has donated a grizzly quilt to be raffled off during the event. Please come, bring your friends, family and neighbors.
