Join ‘Earth Day’ fun with PAT group
POLSON — The Parents as Teachers Home Visiting program is celebrating Earth Day with a fun-filled “Group Connection” from 3:30-5 p.m. in the Lake County Health Department’s conference room, 802 Main Street. Families with children under 5 years old are invited to come and enjoy some sensory play, crafts, and learn about planting seeds and other ways to enjoy and care for the Earth. Snacks will be provided and each family will receive a book about Earth Day. The PAT program is a free, voluntary program that provides twice-monthly home visits with age-appropriate activities for children from birth to age five. We also provide developmental screenings, information and referrals to area resources. Families can be enrolled in the PAT program as soon as mom is pregnant, which many moms-to-be and dads find to be very helpful, since babies don’t come with a manual. Call 406-883-7288 for more information.
