‘Welcome to Polson’ signs dedicated
POLSON — Plan to take a few minutes at 10 a.m. Friday morning to attend the dedication ceremonies for the “Welcome to Polson” sign at the Walmart location. The completed signs, designed and created by Rob Gunderson, are ready to welcome visitors as well as residents. The signs are a collaborative effort of the Polson Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Polson Community Foundation, the Orton Foundation, Envision Polson Beautification Committee, and the city of Polson.
City manager to speak to Pachyderms
POLSON – Polson’s City Manager, Mark Shrives, will be the guest speaker at the Friday, April 24, meeting of the Lake County Pachyderm Club. He will talk about the proposed resort tax; the “water loop” currently under construction; a new water well on Hwy. 35; revamping the old 9 golf course irrigation system; remodeling the Riverside Park bathroom; progress on the sewer plant project; answer questions. Social time and brown bag lunches are at 11:30 a.m. The meeting starts at noon. Join us at the Polson Rural Fire Hall on Regatta Road near the Fairgrounds.

Lead from where you stand
POLSON – Lake County Job Service Employer Committee proudly presents “Lead From Where you Stand,” on Friday, April 24, from 8 a.m.- noon at the KwaTaqNuk Resort. Library announces late opening
POLSON – North Lake County Public Library in Polson will open to the public at noon on Friday, April 24, instead of the usual 11 a.m. This change will allow staff to meet with the professional facilitator coordinating initial strategic planning meetings for the library.
Pick up clean-up assignment at library
POLSON — It’s time for Polson’s annual “Clean-Up, Green-Up” on Friday, April 24. Stop by the North Lake County Public Library from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. to pick up your route assignment, trash bags and gloves. Republic Services will have a special dumpster in the parking lot across from the VFW in Polson for you to drop off your accumulated trash.
