Free training offered on violence dynamics
PABLO — “Dynamics of Violence Training,” presented by SAFE Harbor and co-hosted by SKC Center for Prevention and Wellness, will take place on April 27 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Insights, understanding and prevention of dating violence, will be covered along with legal basics, impacts of violence and community, personality-assertive or passive, styles of communication, harassment vs. flirting and images and objectification. View movie ‘Harry’s War’ at MOAM
POLSON — On April 27, at 6:30 p.m. Miracle of America’s Free Night at the Museum event will show the movie, “Harry’s War.” A postal worker quits his job to fight against the IRS who had unjustly treated his Aunt Beverly who owned a military surplus yard. Harry has to use a WWII halftrack (like the museum displays out front) to fight for justice. The museum displays some of the actual movie props. Come enjoy this “fourth Tuesday” event and enjoy a classic family movie with background discussion and a display tour of select items.
