Yard sale donations accepted now
BIG ARM — The Big Arm Association is now accepting donations for their annual yard sale being held on Saturday, May 30. You can drop off your donations at our schoolhouse on Thursdays between 10 a.m.-noon, or contact Nancy or Jeff at (406) 849-5064, to make other arrangements.

Children’s artwork displayed May 16-30
POLSON – Sandpiper member Heather Holmes will display a multi-media collection of Native American inspired art from art classes she taught with Cherry Valley and Linderman Elementary students including ledger art, totems, masks, mandalas, clay pots and sculptures. The show runs May 16-30. There will be a reception on Friday, May 22 from 5-7 p.m. Come in and show your support of our children.

LCCDC offers workshop
RONAN — LCCDC will offer the two-day workshop, Creating Value and Building Wealth, on Wednesday, May 26, and Thursday, May 27 at their 407 Main Street location, from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. The most successful businesses have found that the key to long-term success revolves around effective financial management. Come dance at Elks
POLSON — A community dance will be held from 7-10 p.m. Wednesday, May 27 at the Elks Hall in Polson. This week, it will be Heart to Heart entertaining. EAA Chapter 1122 to discuss annual Fly In
POLSON – The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1122 in Polson will hold a May meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, at the Polson Airport.
The main point of discussion will be the annual Fly In Breakfast to be held on Sept. 12.
Please bring ideas and suggestions. All interested pilots and aviation enthusiasts are welcome to attend this meeting. We hope to see you there.

Suicide prevention group to host Phillips
POLSON — Paul Phillips, project coordinator for Salish Kootenai College’s community health and development will be the presenter at the May 27 Partners in Suicide Prevention and Intervention meeting, to be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the third floor of the Polson Tribal Health Clinic. Phillips will share ideas for keeping youth physically, mentally and emotionally healthy through physical activity and good nutrition. A free lunch will be served.
