Yard sale donations accepted now
BIG ARM — The Big Arm Association is now accepting donations for their annual yard sale being held on Saturday, May 30. You can drop off your donations at our schoolhouse on Thursdays between 10 a.m.-noon, or contact Nancy or Jeff at (406) 849-5064, to make other arrangements.

Children’s artwork displayed May 16-30
POLSON – Sandpiper member Heather Holmes will display a multi-media collection of Native American inspired art from art classes she taught with Cherry Valley and Linderman Elementary students including ledger art, totems, masks, mandalas, clay pots and sculptures. The show runs May 16-30. There will be a reception on Friday, May 22 from 5-7 p.m. Come in and show your support of our children.

Sandpiper show features ‘R’ in aRt April 6 through May 16
POLSON — Sandpiper Gallery with have a non-juried show entitled “The ‘R’ in aRt” from April 6-May 16. The show features rodeos, ranching, railroads, reflections, raptors, rockets, roundups, robots, riding, raccoons, and radios... all things “R.” A reception will be held on April 10 from 5-7 p.m.
Accordion group gathers to jam
POLSON — The Northwest Montana Accordion Association will hold a jam session Sunday, May 3, from 2-5:30 p.m. at the VFW in Polson.
Annual bazaar to include many events
ARLEE – Sacred Heart Parish will hold their annual bazaar on Sunday, May 3, from 12:30-3:30 p.m. in the church social hall. There will be Indian tacos, pies, beverages, hot dogs, and more. Many events will take place including: a raffle featuring a handmade quilt, cash prizes and a box of barbecue steaks; door prizes; kids games; a cake walk and more. Please come and help us make this a success. It is the only fundraiser Sacred Heart Parish holds.
Help build, plant new community food hub
POLSON – On Sunday, May 3, at 2:30 p.m. Montana Co-op will celebrate International Permaculture Day by building and planting new vertical beds at our new community food hub site. Bring a potluck item, gloves, drills, and any plants to donate. Movies will be shown that are related to permaculture and will inspire you. There is a “Barefoot Church” service beforehand at 1 p.m. Build community and resilience through skill building, local food systems and education about best practices for a better world. Help beautify our corner of Fourth (410) and Main Street.

Spring music festival funds Helping Hands
POLSON — Immaculate Conception Church is the site of Helping Hands’ Spring Music Festival on Sunday, May 3 at 4 p.m. Local musicians; church choirs and instrumentalists will all collaborate to provide music. A spaghetti dinner provided by the Knights of Columbus will follow the concert. Donations will be accepted for Helping Hands - an organization that helps provide emergency assistance to Lake County residents as well as folks traveling through our area.
