Move for better balance through June
POLSON — The spring session of “Moving for Better Balance,” an adapted Tai Chi program, will begin on Tuesday, April 9. LAKE COUNTY — The Flathead Reservation and Lake County Boys and Girls Club in Ronan will operate a summer program Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. from June 10-Aug. 16 (closed July 4). The cost is $20 per week or $150 for the full summer. The summer session is 10 weeks of fun – opportunities for discovery, learning, and activities galore. ‘Magic Moment’ art exhibited through July 26
POLSON — A members only open show entitled “Magic Moment,” featuring Sandpiper Art Gallery member artists past and present will be exhibited from June 17-July 26. All submissions will be accepted in the artist’s interpretation of the theme. This is member magic at its best. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday.

‘Mission Valley in Motion’ program begins, through Aug. 8
PABLO — “Mission Valley in Motion” is a summer youth program that will run from June 17- Aug. 8, at the Joe McDonald Health & Fitness Center. The program is open to students ages 7-14. ‘Chainsaw Carving Rendezvous’ held
RONAN — From Thursday, June 20, until Sunday, June 23, a “Chainsaw Carving Rendezvous” will be held at the Lake County Fairgrounds from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. The event includes a Dutch oven class at 11 a.m.; the Cheff Ranch Legacy Outfitters from 2-6 p.m.; a carving seminar starts at 6 p.m.; the Farmers Market will be open from 4-7 p.m. and a carving auction will take place at 7 p.m. Watch all the action and see some amazing works of art by chainsaw carvers from across the U.S. Craft and food vendors, a beer garden, lumberjack log milling, and the CSKT Forestry and Fire Departments will also be on site. Busy Ronan organizes many activities
RONAN — Ronan Fairgrounds will host several all-day activities: a beer garden will open at 9 a.m.; chain-saw carving will go on all day from 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; a saw mill demo takes place at 2 p.m. along with the Cheff Ranch Legacy Outfitters from 2-6 p.m.; another carving auction will take place at 7 p.m. to be followed by a 325 Street Dance beginning at 9 p.m.

RONAN — On Friday, June 21, the Ronan Area Chamber of Commerce will present “Crab Fest 2019,” which is a benefit for the Bockman (Ronan City) Park. The dinner begins at 5 p.m. and will take place at the Lake County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $35 per person or two for $60 for the all-you-can-eat event. Kiwanis Club hosts beer, wine fest
POLSON — The Kiwanis Club is hosting a local beer and wine fest from 6-9 p.m. at the KOA Campground, 200 Irvine Flats Road, on June 21. This fundraiser supports local Kiwanis community projects and local youth activities including scholarships, the Boys and Girls Club, Boy Scouts, Special Olympics and the Polson Middle School band. PEO rummage sale benefits scholarships
RONAN — The Lower Mission Valley Chapter of PEO will hold their annual rummage sale on June 21, on the west side of Ronan Glacier Bank, across from the city park. It will be open from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Clothing, household goods, accessories, books, games and miscellaneous items will be available for sale. All proceeds from the sale will be used for PEO sponsored scholarships for women.
