Join ‘Moving for Better Balance’
POLSON — Moving for Better Balance, an evidence-based, adapted Tai Chi class, will be offered by the Area VI Agency on Aging on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10-11 a.m. for 12 weeks, May 1-July 19. Classes will be held at the Polson Senior Center. The fee is $35 for senior center members, $50 for non-members (they get a membership included), but everything is on a slidingscale. Summer theatre opens with ‘After the Ball’ through July 22
POLSON —The Port Polson Players’ 2018 summer season, (their 43rd summer season), opens with the musical “After the Ball.” The show features music from the Gay ‘90s through the Roaring ‘20s, along with the title song, parlor tunes, ragtime, cowboy ballads, and Tin Pan Alley favorites. All summer theatre shows are presented at Polson’s beautiful theatre on the lake on the Polson golf course - U.S. Hwy. 93, Boettcher Park. This regional premier plays from July 5-22. Annual Cherry Quilt Show held
POLSON — Join us for All In Stitches’ Annual Cherry Quilt Show July 10 – July 22 in celebration of the Flathead Cherry Festival. Quilts will hang in businesses on Main Street from Tuesday, July 10, through Sunday, July 22. Plan some time to pick up a ballot at All In Stitches and walk around Polson to vote on your favorite quilts by July 18. Ribbons will be hung July 19. Commissioner to speak on county budgetary process
POLSON — Lake County Commissioner Dave Stipe, will speak to the public at the meeting of Lake County Pachyderm Club on Friday, July 13, from noon-1 p.m. He will address questions the public may have on the county budgetary process. Projected changes to the future budget of Lake County may be possible given new property tax payments. The meeting will take place at Polson Rural Fire Hall at 25 Regatta Road. P.E.O. rummage sale proceeds benefit scholarships
RONAN — The Lower Mission Valley Chapter of P.E.O. will hold their annual rummage sale on July 13, on the west side of Ronan Glacier Bank, across from the city park. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Clothing, household goods, accessories, books, games and miscellaneous items will be available for sale. All proceeds from the sale will be used for P.E.O. sponsored scholarships for women.
