Donations for silent auction welcome

ARLEE — Activities are picking up for the fall and winter at the Arlee Senior Citizens Center. A silent auction is scheduled to begin Nov. 24, during the Saturday evening meal. Members are asked to bring to the center over the next week, new or lightly used items for auction labeling and set-up. New items of footwear, a new rice cooker, and a variety of appliances and baskets for Christmas are already in the line-up. Donations from the community would be most welcome. On Nov. 24 we are planning an evening of bingo games. Everyone is invited to the 6 p.m. Saturday evening dinner and to enjoy an hour or so of bingo following the meal.
