Mae J. Johnson Fowler

MOIESE – Mae J. Johnson Fowler passed away in her home at Sun City, Ariz., Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010 from esophageal cancer.  Mae was born to LeRoy and Nellie Anderson Johnson at Diamond Lake, Wash. On Aug. 12, 1916. The family moved several places while her father was logging and had a brief try at farming in Conrad until the drought. They then moved back to Stark to resume logging and living in the logging camp. Mae attended school in Frenchtown, Dixon, then North Moiese until 1928 when she relocated to South Moiese.
