Winogene Clairmont Cherry

Winogene Clairmont Cherry, 82, of Polson, passed away on Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at St. Luke Community Hospital in Ronan. Winogene was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and was a member of the Confederated Salish Kootenai Tribe. She is survived by two sons, Corwin “Corky” Clairmont of Ronan and Dave Clairmont of Polson; two  grandchildren, Bernie Clairmont of Portland and Allen Clairmont of Missoula; and her great grandchildren, Kyia, Kirstyn, Brook, Kaitlyn, Zenler and Zakary.  Services were held Sunday and Monday. Interment was at the Ronan Cemetery. Send memorials to St. Jude’s Hospital or the donor’s choice.
