POLSON — Vida Winkley, 98, of Polson, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010 at St. Joseph Medical Center. Vida was born Feb. 19, 1911 in Kellerton, Iowa to Bill and Martha Hackett Vail. She attended the Vancouver Business College. In 1933, she married O. E. “Kim” Kimball in Camas, Wash. They settled in Montana and started M&S Meats. They later divorced in 1958. Vida married Jack Winkley in 1964. They lived in Rollins for 31 years. She enjoyed playing bridge, growing flowers, looking at the beautiful mountains and lake, reading, and dining out.
