ELMO — Curtis Michael Auld, 67, of Elmo, passed away on Friday, Sept. 14, 2018. “Curdy” was the sixth child born in Polson, to Mose Auld and Alice Wakan. While proud of his Sioux roots, he was a traditional Kootenai man. Curt enjoyed the simple things in life, loved rodeos and powwows, playing the machines at the casino or even just a leisurely Sunday drive in the mountains. He was at his best when visiting relatives, young and old. His sense of humor, wit and laughter were contagious.
