CHARLO – Charlo’s Landers Smith is finding himself to be a crucial component for the Viking football squad. Smith passed for 105 yards, rushed for 116 yards and scored four touchdowns during the Friday, Sept. 2 home game against Plains. Smith opened the game up with a 5-yard touchdown and a 2-point conversion pass to Brady Fryberger, but Plains answered back with a touchdown just minutes later. Smith found a surge and scored the next two touchdowns for the Vikings to put his team in a 24-6 lead.
