Sports Shorts for April 3, 2019

The boys and girls Polson High School tennis teams got a jump start on the 2019 season by hosting games on Friday, March 22, between Libby and Hamilton, and again on Saturday, March 23, between Corvallis and Loyola. In Friday’s match ups, the Pirates defeated Libby 6-1 and took down Hamilton 6-0. The Lady Pirates defeated both Libby and Hamilton with identical scores of 5-2. On Saturday, the Lady Pirates split their games by winning 6-0 over Loyola but fell 4-3 to Corvallis. The Pirates dropped both of their games, 3-0 to Loyola and 5-2 to Corvallis.
