POLSON – Three blocks of downtown Polson were closed off to traffic as basketball players and fans filled the streets for the annual Flathead Lake 3-on-3 basketball tournament this past weekend. The two-day event, first played in 1992, has grown into one of Montana’s most popular and longest- running tournaments. This late-summer classic draws more than 800 players and 200 teams each year to the streets of Polson as they battle it out in extremely competitive streetball for bragging rights and prizes.
