POLSON – In their 2019-season home opener, the Polson Lady Pirates softball team rallied for three scores but came up short as they fell 10-8 on Friday evening in a Class A nonconference battle with the Hamilton Lady Broncs. Polson pitcher Lauren Vergeront pitched well despite taking a loss that allowed four runs, on four hits, one home run and three walks while striking out three.
