FRENCHTOWN — It was a busy weekend for local prep wrestlers as they hit the divisional tournaments mats in hopes of securing bracket spots at next weekend’s state tournament held in Billings. On Saturday, the Ronan Chiefs secured 14 state berths and snagged a third-place finish as a team during the Western A Divisional Tournament hosted in Frenchtown. At the end of the one-day tournament, Ridge Cote (113), Landon Bishop (145) and Tristan Fisher (170) were the last grapplers standing in their respective weight class.
