ST. IGNATIUS – The Lady Bulldogs played tough volleyball, working hard and coming out on top last week, securing two more wins to add to their books.

Thursday the Lady Bulldogs hosted Deer Lodge at home giving the Homecoming crowd a reason to go hoarse. After falling behind in the first two sets, Mission dug down and pulled out wins in the final three, taking down the Lady Wardens 3-2.

Jordyn Eichert had 21 digs, 16 assists and two aces for the Lady Bulldogs. Lyndsey Johnson had four of Missions six blocks and added 12 kills.

Saturday Mission hosted Arlee for some non-conference play, overcoming the Scarlets 3-1.

Johnson led the Lady Bulldogs with 11 kills, eight digs and two blocks. Trinity Lewandowski served up five aces.

The Lady Bulldogs will head to the road this week stopping in Bigfork Sept. 25 and Florence Oct. 2.
