RONAN – The Maidens took a couple over the last week of play while falling on the wrong end of sweeps at home.
On Oct. 14 while hosting Florence, the Maidens won the first set but couldn’t hold on falling to the Lady Falcons 1-3.
While guarding the net, McKenzie Cates knocked down five out of the Maidens 10 blocks while teammate Sydnee Clairmont logged 12 kills. Kendra Starkel had 12 digs for the Maidens.
Taking on the Loyola-Sacred Heart Thursday, the Maidens took a spill against the Lady Breakers 0-3.
Individual stats were not reported for the Maidens.
Ronan will finish up regular season facing 6B rivals, Mission’s Lady Bulldogs, at St. Ignatius Oct. 23 and will head to Deer Lodge Oct. 25.
