Judge Deborah Kim Christopher dealt with the following case Thursday, Nov. 6:
Theresa Morgan, 43, Ronan, pleaded not guilty to theft, a felony.
An omnibus hearing is set for Dec. 18 and a jury trial for Feb. 23, 2015.
According to court documents, charges stem from an Aug. 15 incident where Morgan allegedly stole a white gold ring with diamonds and sapphires from her place of employment. A video given to a Ronan police officer showed Morgan stealing a ring in a ring box while working.
The officer went to Morgan’s home to speak to her, and she admitted stealing the ring, and returned it to the officer. She told the officer she stole it because she was upset about being demoted. The wholesale value of ring was $2,500, according to the business.
