Editor,

I have never been able to understand the mindset of someone who believes that it is OK to take something that does not belong to him or her just because they want it. With this I would like to address the person or persons who on Wednesday, Dec. 10, walked out of the Mission Valley Senior Center in Ronan with one of the raffle items for the Lake County Council on Aging. Several hundred people bought raffle tickets in a chance they could win this lunchbox made of Montana license plates. If you had asked, I could have let you know where to get one. I probably would have offered to pick one up for you the next time I drove through Deer Lodge. So I hope you are happy with yourself. I assure you, you are the only one who is.

With that said, as project director of the Lake County Council on Aging, I would like to thank all those who bought raffle tickets and who have supported the Lake County Council on Aging in pursuing our goal of raising the $7,000 match needed for the purchase of a wheelchair assessable van.
