Editor,

So sorry, I try, but cannot be politically correct as I write this note to whomever it concerns. I wish you would have prepared us for the Linderman music show with a little more information. If you had, we never would have wasted our time going. I cannot begin to put into words how disappointed and appalled we were at the content of the program. How have we gotten to the point where the 5 percent tells the 95 percent what they will sing, say, read, discuss and present at a time of the year such as Christmas?

Mr. B or Mrs. Grimshaw would have dropped dead in their tracks if they saw this. I would not have allowed my children or grandchildren to be a part of this “politically correct” evening of “songs of hope and inspiration.” How in the world did these songs fit into the area of “hope and inspiration?”

Again, so sorry, but this is just one more step in the direction allowing the concerns of the few dictate how the majority of the population will continue along in their daily ways of life. I just wanted to let you know how we all felt and express our disappointment in the program —  that is if we are still allowed to, and have the right to, express our views and concerns on a subject.
