Praises to our king. He loves us always, for he loves us when we are weak, when we hurt, when we feel hopeless, when we are wrong, when we are not so kind, when we are helpful, when we are selfish, when we are sad, when we are mad, when we cry, when we are happy, when we are giving. Every day is a blessing when we can open our eyes, every day when we can turn and say I love you to the one we adore; every day when we can reach out and lend a helping hand.
It is a blessing to have him beside us; it is a blessing to be able to worship him in a free country. It is God who picks up when we stumble and fall; it is he who brushes us off. It is he who brings us out of the depths of despair. It is his love that rains down upon me and washes away my tears. It is him that I humble myself to. It is his shield he places in front of me when harm comes; it is God who show’s me painful memories fade away. It is his love that is great and pure. It is he I adore.
