SUPERIOR – The Warriors cruised past opponents last week, leaving point dust in their wake after picking up a pair of conference wins while staying undefeated at 4-0 for the opening week of basketball.

Thursday the Warriors pulverized last year’s District champs Superior, 69-23, proving they came to play no matter what title hangs over their opponent.

Warrior Justis Haynes led the crushing blow netting 21 points for his team. Tyler Tanner and Bradley Brazill each added 10 apiece.

At Hot Springs on Saturday the Warriors completed a calculated attack on Hot Springs, toppling the Savage Heat 84-65.

Four Warriors posted double digits with Tanner leading his crew at the net with 19. Right behind was Haynes with 16 and Brazill and Phillip Malatare each with 10.

Arlee will return after the break to host St. Regis Jan. 3.
