Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases Jan. 9-15:
Russell William Bortle, 33, pleaded not guilty of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $400, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended.
The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Jacob Lewis Dobler, 21; Victor James Mauro, 22; William John Reed, 20; Donald Jason Sharpe, 40; Randy Layne Taylor, 18; William Anthony Auchus, 81; Ryan Todd Boughan, 46, forfeited a $250 and $35 in court costs for failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense.
Amanda J. Oberg, 27, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for displaying fictitious, altered, etc. license plates.
The following individuals forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violation: Travis Jordan Courville, 22; Taylor Jena Bolin, 22.
Patsy Pauline Breshears, 65, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. She was fined $250 and $35 in court costs.
Abigail Leigh Feiler, 29, pleaded guilty of basic rule, reasonable and prudent, first offense. She was fined $85.
Alan Patrick Pule, 40, pleaded guilty to careless driving. He was fined $50 and $35 in court costs.
Chance Alan Johnson, 27, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.
Daniel G. Swartzenberger, 71, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for improper passing, in no-passing zone.
Laverne Deschenes McGreevey, 79, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.
Heather Jean Wadsworth, 36, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.
Shannon David Manasco, 40, forfeited $35 in court costs for operating overweight/dimension vehicle or combination on Highway without special permit.
