Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases for Jan. 30-Feb. 5:
Brandis Jordan Black, 20, pleaded not guilty to partner or family member assault, causing bodily injury to partner or family member. He was fined $100, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 150 days suspended and credited time of 4 days.
Trent Harley Thomson, 36, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty and fined $300, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 176 days suspended.
Zachary Carl Aman, 19, pleaded not guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of 0.02% BAC under 21 years of age, first offense. He was fined $250, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended.
Ronald Hansen Jr., 22, pleaded not guilty to driving without a valid drivers license. He was found guilty and fined $100 and $35 in court costs.
Jamie Michael Engeldrum, 24, pleaded guilty to careless driving. He was fined $50 and $35 in court costs.
Kaarina J. Wedrick, 37, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, second offense. She was fined $350 and $35 in court costs.
The following individuals were found guilty of seatbelt violation: Caroline Victoria Austill, 50; Joaquin Sierra Liberty, 36; Dillon Keeho Gipe, 21; Ann Sias, 70; Jennelle L. Bennett, 39; Ronald Elvin Rollefson, 87. All forfeited a $20 fine.
James G. Violette, Jr., 47, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit/insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. He was fined $250 and $35 in court costs.
Justin Jay Evans, 23, pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration, failure to reregister and was fined $50 and $35 in court costs.
John Jorel Blea, 34, was found guilty of speeding and fined $60 and $35 in court costs.
Todd Ryan Jordan, 31, forfeited a $20 fine for seatbelt violation and pleaded guilty to operating in violation of restrictions imposed on D/L. He was fined $50 and $35 in court costs.
