ARLEE — We had a very good response to our Valentine’s Day Dinner. Fifty some people turned out for the prime rib dinner, the bake sale and the drawing for the quilt. Jim Norgard won the drawing for the quilt. Thanks to all who attended and supported the center.
Our cook, Marilyn Moran, is recuperating from a bad fall; we miss her, wish her well and hope for a speedy recovery. Meanwhile, Judy Altenhoffen has stepped up to the kitchen plate, so to speak, and is doing a fantastic job. Thanks, Judy.
Meals are served Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at noon and at 6 p.m. the second and fourth Saturdays of every month.
Following are the menus for March:
• Wednesday, March 4: fried chicken, taters and gravy, fruit, buns, corn, cookies
• Friday, March 6: Indian tacos with chili and all the fixins, fruit and brownies
• Sunday, March 8: Daylight savings time
• Monday, March 9: meatloaf, baked potatoes, spinach, fruit, buns, rice crispy bars
• Wednesday, March 11: split pea soup, ham sandwich, cheese with relish tray, fruit, lemon-bars
