Editor,
If you missed it, Sunday was darn near standing room only for the PPP show, “Shillelagh.” I’m sure the set design was just like the real pub on the northwest coast of that green island near the Rosses. The music was so fine, and the boys did it up so well.
The folks next to me had never been to a show at the theater on the lake. Not to worry; I filled them in on the details. It has been my joy to have been a part of Karen and Neal’s goings-on for 30 years and their presence is needed. I’m praying to St. Bernadette, (she’s Irish, dontcha know)? Here’s wishing the Lewings the prayer, “... may the devil loose track of you for 30 minutes whilst your backsides have cleared the heavenly portals.”
Get your season tickets early and often as there is another season of fine shows at “The Theater on the Lake.” Maybe a resurrection of “Shillelagh” in the fall? All things are possible for we who hang with the little people.
