POLSON – A Charlo man has changed his plea May 21 in the shooting and killing of his wife, 29-year-old RaeLynn Charlo in November 2014.
Adrian McElderry, 32, agreed to plead guilty to mitigated homicide and obstructing justice. Sentencing was set for July 2.
McElderry was initially charged with deliberate homicide and tampering with evidence after authorities said evidence at the scene of his wife’s death did not match up with McElderry’s story of her alleged suicide.
An autopsy showed she was shot in the head, between her eyes.
