Editor,
As television seems to be devolving towards an endless parade of re-runs and infomercials, let us continue to be stayed by the one constant that offers hope: professional wrestling.
All attempts at humor aside, we now have so many presidential candidates debating everything from what makes a hero to a candidate wearing glasses, one wonders how we are ever possibly going to separate the wheat from the chaff.
Donald Trump comes across as almost a caricature of himself, but nobody gets to say, “You’re fired!” to him.
But until Mr. Trump formally apologizes to the honorable and truly heroic Senator John McCain and all of our veterans, for the ignominious statements he made about them, he should be asked, in my opinion, not to appear again on any debate stage.
The people that defend our way of life, and make this great country of freedom and diversity possible, including those in the military, and also our policemen and firemen, and all who help them, they are the true heroes, and always will be.
