I wanted to take the opportunity to publicly thank Ronan High School and the Mission Valley Future Farmers of America (FFA) students for donating their time at our HARVEST! A Celebration of Local Food Event last Saturday. These students and their advisors were top notch. They showed up on time, dressed in their uniforms and worked hard throughout the event greeting guests, serving hors d’oeuvres, bussing tables and cleaning up at the end of the night with smiles on their faces. The Mission of FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. We had the chance to witness what a great job FFA is doing in our community.
