ST. IGNATIUS – The St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Fall Rummage and Bake Sale is under way. The event is being held Tuesday-Friday, Oct. 6 -9. The bake sale will be held on Friday, Oct. 9. The sale hours will be from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The Lake County Health Department will provide flu shots in the center on Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 4 p.m.-5 p.m. Seniors are asked to bring their Medicare cards with them. The foot care volunteer will be in the center on Tuesday, Oct. 20. Stop by the center or call for an appointment.
The activities at the center for the rest of October are:
— Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
— Lunches begin at noon.
— Dinners begin at 5:30 p.m.
— Quilters quilt in the center on Mondays and Thursdays.
— Lunches may be delivered to qualified seniors.
— Wednesday-Friday: Oct. 6-9 rummage sale
— Thursday, Oct. 7: roast pork dinner, 5:30 p.m.
— Friday, Oct. 9: bake sale; baked chicken and birthday cake lunch
— Tuesday, Oct. 13: baked fish lunch
— Friday, Oct. 16: tamale pie lunch
— Tuesday, Oct. 20: foot clinic; cowboy casserole lunch
— Wednesday, Oct. 21: flu shots; barbecue rib dinner, 5:30
— Friday, Oct. 23: soup and sandwiches lunch
— Tuesday, Oct. 27: meatloaf lunch
— Friday, Oct. 30: goulash lunch
