Editor,
Many pounds of fruit and vegetables came into the Bread Basket this fall from local gardens in our valley. Bishop Insurance, through a food drive, gave 1,400 pounds of groceries to our center.
A young gentleman named Jackson Kallay collected more than 522 pounds of food for the Bread Basket. Our blessings were overflowing.
In October and November, Town Pump will also match financial donations to the center up to $5,000. If you are thinking of helping out our needy families, now is the time, and it is always appreciated.
God bless you all for this help.
