Country’s leadership pathetic

After reading several letters of an extremely liberal mentality in the Valley Journal, I could no longer restrain myself from expressing a more conservative approach concerning our country. I feel it is important for everyone to read and evaluate how pathetic our leadership currently is in our country.
Let me begin with a quote of the century by Vaclav Klaus, former premiere of the Czech Republic. His summation of our problem in America is as follows:
“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”
The following quote is from Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh:
“A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship.”
