Editor,
On behalf of the Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana, a thank you to all who attended our 16th annual fundraiser, the Black Tie Dinner, at Ninepipes Lodge on Jan. 21.
We received thousands of dollars in merchandise from neighbors and local business owners for our silent and live auctions; the live auction was a great success thanks to the enthusiastic bids drawn out by auctioneer Jason Clinkenbeard. Cathy Gillhouse brought two of her Mission Valley Children’s Choir students to perform and they did a terrific job.
Besides preparing a delicious meal for everyone, the staff of the Ninepipes Lodge and Allentown Restaurant were very helpful in planning the event and sharing the evening with smiles on their faces. The sponsorship money provided by Blackfoot Telecommunications Group to help cover the expenses of the evening helped immensely.
We truly appreciate their ongoing community-minded support. We thank everyone for their support to help fund the operations of the museum, and we hope to see you during the 2016 season when the museum opens on April 1.
