Library offers digital learning day

POLSON — North Lake County Public Library in Polson will host Digital Learning Day on Wednesday, Feb. 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the library meeting room. Trainer Sara Fisher will be present to instruct and answer questions about technology and electronic devices.

Devices such as an iPad, Kindle, etc. will be available to explore, along with instructional practice involving the library’s e-resources. Also available will be a group of laptops featuring different topics or skills. Information about free technology tutorials will be offered. Any one of any age or skill level is invited to attend.

Indian Education committee to meet

POLSON — The Polson School District JO’M Indian Education Committee monthly meeting will be held Tuesday, Feb. 16 at Linderman Elementary School. Dinner and childcare are provided. The dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. with the meeting following at 6 p.m. Agenda items include the Annual Needs Assessment Survey results, Review of by-laws with suggestions for changes/amendments, various proposals/requests from community members/JOM parents, nominations for the Co-Chair/Vice Chair vacancy and the announcement of our the new Community Development Specialist.
