The Lake County Election administrators have an unofficial count on election results for the Tuesday, May 3, election. Official results will be approved by county commissioners on Monday, May 9, at 3:30 p.m.

Polson Rural Fire trustee count was in with John Doty at 357 votes, Kevin Straub at 325, and Tracy Plaiss at 198.

The Flathead Joint Board of Control has three seats up for election. In the Flathead Irrigation District, division two, Janette Rosman has 30,038 votes, and Wayne Blevins has 25,531.

In the Flathead District, division four, David Lake has 40,304 votes, and Shane Orien has 15,275 votes.

In the Mission District, Ray Swenson has 5,098 votes, and Jerry Laskody has 2,932.

The Mission School District bond to renovate and expand school facilities has 417 “no” votes and 235 “yes” votes. For one open trustee position, Ryan Schock has 299 votes, Frank Delgado has 162 votes, and Cheyenne McClure has 156 votes.

Other school districts filled open positions by acclamation due to the number of applicants being equal to the positions needing to be filled.
