Ronan boys earn first at Class B Divisionals

DRUMMOND — The Chiefs’ track team earned the divisional title with 163 points last weekend in Drummond.
Jackson Duffey placed first in the 3200 at 10:49.16.
In the 300 hurdles, Ronan swept the top spots as Ezekiel Misa leaped for gold in 43.81 followed by Aaron Misa at 44.27 and Brennan Roullier crossing the line at 45.79.
The girls earned a respectable third-place honor with 75 points.
Lee Camel took gold in womens’ shot put with a 35 foot, 5.5 inch launch. Ashley McCready won the 1600 with a time of 5:43.20
St. Ignatius boys took fifth-place finish behind Ronan, Deer Lodge, Florence and Sacred Heart, and the girls’ team placed sixth.
Afton Brander cleared 4 feet 10 inches for first in high jump.
