RONAN — One of the great parts of my job is the enjoy- ment I get from listening to seniors visiting, laughing and just enjoying each other’s company.
The number one silent cause of death in retirement is loneliness. We have the solution right here at Mission Valley Senior Center; come join us and make some new friends and bring your old ones with you and have some fun.
MVSC will be selling old jewelry this summer at the Garden of the Rockies Museum’s Flea Market starting July 1. Stop by and see us. If you have any jewelry to donate call us at 406-676-2371 or drop it by MVSC during the hours of 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
The center opens at 9 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and if you are over 60 years old. All meals come with fruit, veggies, bread and dessert.
Menu:
— Friday, July 1: spaghetti; Bingo played at 1 p.m.
— Monday, July 4: closed ~ celebrate Independence Day
— Wednesday, July 6: ham dinner; crafts at 1 p.m.
— Friday, July 8: cheese burgers
For Transportation to MVSC call 406-676-2368. Home Delivered meals are available to shut-ins.
Call the center at 406-676-2371 before 10:30 a.m. to get or cancel a meal. A copy of the menu is available at the center or if you email: ronanseniors@ronan. net to get one emailed to you monthly.
