Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases July 8-14:

Larry Joseph Richards, 67, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.8 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $600, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Leona Marlene Spittler, 26, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of driving without a valid driver’s license. She was found guilty and fined $100, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Rainee M. Vassar, 23, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense. She was found guilty and fined $1200, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 358 days suspended.

Robert Gary Hawkins, 49, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, second offense. He was fined $350, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 2 days in jail. Hawkins also pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was fined $250, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 6 days in jail with 4 days suspended.

Kodie Russell Horn, 20, pleaded guilty to reckless driving, first offense. He was fined $150 and $35 in court costs. Horn also pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was fined $250, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 6 days in jail with 4 days suspended.

Dianne Macrae Peterson, 70, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.

Ahmad Khaled Alwaias, 29, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was fined $250 and charged $35 in court costs.

Rachel A. Copeland, 26, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, third or subsequent offense. She was fined $500, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.

Michael Lawrence Dopps, 58, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for parking in prohibited spaces.

Dominick A. Buccelli, 23, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was fined $250, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 6 days in jail with 4 days suspended. Buccelli also pleaded guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense. He was fined $250 and charged $35 in court costs.

Paul Silverman, 68, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for failure to stop at invasive species management area check station.

Connor Mayberry, 20, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for parking in prohibited spaces.

William Charles Smith, 57, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.

Kaila Z. Snell, 24, pleaded guilty to stop sign violation. She was fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.

William Dean Pedersen, 43, pleaded guilty to criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. He was fined $150 and charged $85 in court costs.

Harvey L. Reynolds, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for failure to stop at invasive species management area check station.

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Stone Chase Stewart, 17, fined $95; Keegan Alee Colter, 52, fined $55; Brett James Foshay, 42, fined $200; Patrick R. Jencso, 21, fined $55; Kan Chen, 26, fined $20; Kent Thomas Luetzen, 24, fined $55.

The following individuals were found guilty of seatbelt violation and fined $20: Brandon Wayne Bissegger, 43; Pamela Montgomery Ebel, 66; Charles Joseph Gariepy, 55; Travis Patrick Yost, 44; Darwin Lee Zempel, 59.
