Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases July 29-Aug. 4:
Evan Perry Thomas, 24, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for careless driving.
Joshua Silas Martin, 26, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $1,200 and charged $85 in court costs, $468.01 in restitution and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 358 days suspended.
Teresa Gail Denny, 53, pleaded not guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $600, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
Steven Lyle Rosenbaum, 56, pleaded not guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was fined $600, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Maria Elena Dumotier, 46, fined $70; Mitchell Plattman, 51, fined $55; Eliott D. Messick, 19, fined $55.
The following individuals were found guilty of seatbelt violation and fined $20: Edward Lane Schall, 15; Joe David Thomas, 67; Brady Scott Johnson, 21.
Charles L. Reitz, 53, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for careless driving.
Marret Christiansen, 53, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for stop sign violation.
Soren Mackenzie Greene, 20, forfeited a $100 fine and $35 in court costs for fishing without a license as established by law.
Linda Jo Mitchell, 51, forfeited a $20 fine for seatbelt violation. Mitchell also forfeited a $250 bond and $35 in court costs for operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense.
