Have you seen the beautiful view of the lake from the North Lake County Public Library in Polson? All are welcome to sit in our atrium, enjoy the late summer sun and take in the views while reading a book, a magazine, a newspaper; using free Wi-Fi on your tablet, laptop, or smartphone; coloring, knitting, or simply relaxing. Your Library offers a wide variety of services – we are not just books. For example, did you know that you can download five songs and stream three hours of music each week from www.northlake.freegalmusic.com for free with your library card and PIN? Why buy music when you can get it (legally) for free?
While listening to your latest downloads, browse through the Montana Shared Catalog. Your Library is a member of the Partners group of the MSC which allows us to share our collections with 35 libraries across the state of Montana, all at no cost to you! Have you ever come into the library looking for a book but it wasn’t there and then thought I’ll just check for it next time? No need! You can access the MSC from home or from the computers in the library. Explore the website or just ask one of our friendly librarians to give you a tour. If you find the item you are looking for, simply place it on hold. We will call you as soon as it is available to pick up.
You can find the links to both of these sites on our website: www.northlakecountylibrary.org or call us at 406-883-8225 for assistance. We have many fall programs coming up. Be sure to watch the calendar section for dates and times, and check our Facebook page for updates on the happenings at the library.
