Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases Nov. 25-Dec. 1:

Shawn Lee Breshears, 40, pleaded not guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $500 with $250 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.

Charles Vincent McDonald, 34, pleaded not guilty to the amended charged of reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $350 with $100 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended.

John Patrick Hamilton, Jr., 44, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving under the influence, second offense. He was found guilty and fined $2000 with $800 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 358 days suspended. Tanner Jaderobert Lindsay, 23, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $1000, with $400 suspended and charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Abigail Leigh Feller, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving under the influence, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $1000 with $400 suspended and charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended.

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Elizabeth Ann Norwood, 34, fined $70; Travis Eric Swenson, 28, fined $370; Catherine Mary McGready, 16, fined $20; Brandon Val Simmons, 30, fined $55.

Travis Eric Swenson, 34, pleaded guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense. No fines were listed.

Dawn Rae Delay, 49, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for ROW violation, failing to yield to vehicle on through highway.

The following individuals were found guilty of seatbelt violation and fined $20: Bernard Stephen Fanelli, 79; Samantha Marie Gohl, 27; Cameron Joel Mitchell, 54; Charles Frederick Fearnow, Jr., 57; Michael Scott Gardner, 24; Jason Anthony Whealon, 39, pleaded guilty to careless driving and was fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.

Anne M. Lent, 81, pleaded guilty to careless driving. She was fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.

Keely Cran, 18, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license, has never possessed. She was fined $400 with $200 suspended and charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 2 days in jail with 2 days suspended.
