Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases Jan. 27-Feb.9:

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Robin Lee Schmidt, 33, fined $20; Hannah Joymarsha Moreau, 23, fined $20; Susan Helen Christopher, 40, fined $85; Jennifer R. Vert, 47, fined $85; Rebecca Leah Cunningham, 32, fined $20; Deborah Cornelius Oconnor, 50, fined $55; Robert Daniel Harrod, 28, fined $20.

The following individuals were found guilty of seatbelt violation and were fined $20: Sean C. Oliver, 35; Rex Allen Wilson, 36; Todd Ryan Jordan, 33.

Matthew Paul Demery, 56, pleaded not guilty to aggravated driving under the influence, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $1000 with $400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended.

Aaron Shae Billings, 21, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $1000 with $400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs, and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Jason Wray Overmier, 45, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty and charged $1000 with $400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Neal Vaughn Thomas, 19, pleaded not guilty to following too closely, reasonable and prudent. He was found guilty and fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.

Jonathon Allen Largent, 40, pleaded guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense. He was fined $550 with $300 suspended and charged $35 in court costs.

Mary Ann Sherman, 41, pleaded guilty to careless driving. She was fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs. Sherman also forfeited a $20 fine for seatbelt violation.

Jeryn Jamesdrew Hendricks, 31, forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violation. Hendricks also forfeited a $250 bond and was charged $35 in court costs for operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense.

Vicki Morin-Gallagher, 68, forfeited $35 in court costs for operating a vehicle which has not been properly registered.

Tasha Irene Smith, 33, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license – has never possessed. She was fined $550 with $300 suspended and charged $25 in court costs and sentenced to 2 days in jail with 2 days suspended.

Christine Marie Long, 51, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license – expired less than 180 days. She was fined $500 with $375 suspended and charged $35 in court costs.

Christopher David Lister, 32, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of endangering welfare of a child, first violation. He was found guilty and fined $500 with $500 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Harry Edward Vanbouchaute Jr., 68, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of disorderly conduct. He was fined $185 with $85 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.

Kyler Martin Runkel, 21, pleaded not guilty to assault, purposely or knowingly causing bodily injury to another. He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Brian Eastman, 52, forfeited a $250 fine for failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - owner or operator, first offense. He was fined $250 and charged $35 in court costs.

Amanda Katherine Weldele, 29, forfeited a $250 bond and $35 in court costs for failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense.

Erik Tyson Helm, 38, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for exceeding the 102-inch wide width limit.

Candace May Barbe, 34, pleaded guilty to criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. She was fined $885 with $300 suspended. Barbe also pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. She was fined $560, with $300 suspended and charged $25 in court costs.

Steven Jon Ulrich, 34, forfeited a $100 fine and $35 in court costs for operating a commercial MV without proper endorsement for vehicle type, passenger, or cargo type.

Jeremiah Francis Paul, 19, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle in unsafe conditions without proper lights/equipment. He was fined $150 with $100 suspended and charged $35 in court costs. Paul also pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was fined $1010 with $400 suspended and charged $75 in court costs and sentenced to 1 day in jail. Paul also pleaded guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (over age 18) – first offense. He was fined $210 with $100 suspended and charged $75 in court costs. Paul also pleaded guilt to seatbelt violation and was fined $20.
