RONAN – The Maidens fell 20-0 to visiting Columbia Falls in a nonconference game on Thursday.

This season’s Maiden squad is a young group, with four freshmen in the starting lineup in their last game. Though the young team is struggling early in the season, the losses they experience should prepare them for the games to come.

“I was very impressed by the dedication and flexibility in our players,” Maidens’ head coach Kellie Manyhides said. “Many players had to play new positions they have never played before. So, there’s definitely a learning curve and with the continued hard work our players are putting in, we will continue to improve every day.”
