RONAN —Spring has come to our beautiful valley. All of the lovely colors are popping out everywhere.

There are a lot of things going on at the Mission Valley Senior Center. The AARP Driver’s Safety Course will be held on Thursday, May 11, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members. Call the center at 406-676-2371, if you want to sign up for the class. Our Thursday evening meal on May 11 is at 5:30 p.m. We will be serving a pork roast dinner. The cost is only $5 and you get a full meal including dessert.

The foot clinic is on Wednesday, May 17.

Bridge is played every Monday following the noon meal. Everyone is welcome. The Monday night Pinochle group meets at 7 p.m. on May 15. They are also always happy to have you join them. The arts and crafts group is meeting again on Wednesday afternoons. If you would like to join them bring your latest project you are working on and come and join in the fun.

Our menu for the coming week is:

— Wednesday, May 10: brunch

— Thursday, May 11: pork roast at 5 p.m.

— Friday, May 12: pork enchiladas, salad, fruit, dessert

— Monday, May 15: Shepherd’s pie, green salad, dessert

— Wednesday, May 17: chicken Alfredo, garlic bread, salad, dessert All meals come with coffee, milk, juice or tea.

The center is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the noon meal and on the second Thursday of the month for the evening meal.

You don’t have to be a senior to join us for the meals. We have a great place to catch up with old friends or meet new friends.

Get out and enjoy the wonderful sunshine; it is nature’s best medicine.
