POLSON — Let me vent. We accept aluminum cans in our drop-off bin, for which we are grateful, but somebody is leaving bags full of plastic, some of which is simply trash. I could simply put it all in the trash but I’m trying to save the planet so, when time permits, I take it out to the recycling bins. As I’m removing caps and junk, people come along beside me and put their plastic in: caps, flat plastic and junk in spite of clearly marked signs. I’m sure the good folks at the recycling center don’t appreciate it. I can’t save the planet by myself. Please do your share.

There … I feel better now.

The four nice chairs donated to us from Whitefish Credit Union are being used and appreciated. Thank you Lisa Stover.

Once again, we want to thank all the volunteers who help us succeed in our mission - from drivers delivering meals to two very special ladies, Jo and Shirley, who decorate and change our display cabinets monthly.

On Friday, July 14, at the afternoon Bridge games, Max Neeley’s 2620 slightly edged out Michele Walter’s 2520.
